Mikayla Ball, born and raised in the Bucktown/Metairie area, is a dedicated hospital manager with a strong commitment to providing exceptional care in the veterinary field.
She graduated from Delgado Community College in 2017 with a degree in veterinary technology and has been working in the veterinary field since 2015. She originally started working at an emergency hospital as a receptionist and quickly fell in love with every department, from the front desk to the kennel to being a veterinary assistant. For the past few years, Mikayla has been a hospital manager, overseeing operations, supporting staff development, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. Her biggest passion in veterinary medicine is client education.
Mikayla takes pride in her local roots and her connection to the community. Outside of her professional endeavors, she is an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hunting with her field golden Chief, fishing, and spending time with the rest of her “mini zoo.” Her “mini zoo” consists of a boxer mix, Maci Lou, a German Shepherd, a Mule, a dachshund, Peyton, her three cats, Midnight, Toulouse, and Sky, and lastly, her rabbit, Albus Thumberdore.
